About Me

Welcome to my personal website. My name is Paddy and I’ve been a programmer specializing in web systems for 5 years. My main hobbies include playing video games, reading, programming (the thing I did to make this website), and playing and listening to music.

What I HOPE to achieve with this website is to create an avenue so that I can write about all of these hobbies, or anything else that comes to me, in the form of the blog that’s hosted on here. In particular my aim is to explore video game criticism as much as possible in these blog posts as it’s been a passion of mine for a long time.

Feel free to check the github repository for this website in the links section for an up to date answer on this. But basically I hope that this website can serve as a platform for any Golang web application I can think of.

What’s your favorite [movie|tv show|video game|book]?

I might add something to the site that shows this information on the home page. It was part of the initial design but my main focus shifted to getting the blog up and running as fast as possible.

Why didn’t you mention that in your previous answer?

Ok relax. This is my first time using Markdown and I just feel a bit unfamiliar writing an “About Me” outside of a job application and a FAQ with questions that no one ever actually asks me.
